Ok, just a thought but anyone thought about putting a paranormal board up here? It may just be a good idea.

What does paranormal mean anyway? What kind of subjects will be discussed in a board like that?
ghosts, aliens, etc.There's a topic dealing with the paranormal that can give you a better idea.

I actually agree with Admin that maybe paranormal discussions can go in other catagories, maybe like in the Religion Topics board, since it is something that some people believe in and some don't. It doesn't mean it will be tied to a certain religion, but it is a belief in something that may or may not exist and usually has something to do with angels, spirits, ghosts, or whatever thing the certain person believes in. Or if the discussions have more to do with psychics, ESP, and that sort of thing, they could go in other boards like Let's Talk or the Animal Board, say if they're about animals, or whatever they would fit into. Not telling anyone what to do, just making suggestions on how these topics could fit into other boards we already have. *smile*
The average person is obssessed with the unusual. I've seen things that I couldn't explain stone cold sober.
Actually I think the "Let's Talk" board covers basically everything when it comes down to discussions on certain topics. I wouldn't consider Paranormal Activity to fall under a religous discussion.
Aliens wouldn't fall under that category anyhow, now Spirits and Demonic Spirits may fall under religion though, considering the whole blessing the house and the excorsims they do rid people of these Spirits. The 2 are probably the most popular dicussions worldwide.
The Mythological Creatures are also considered Paranormal Activity, the favorites creatures most talked about out of this category are BigFoot and the wlusive Lochness Monster. There are other creatures though, most are listed under my beliefs in my profile. I myself enjoy the thrill of a good mystery. Science or Fiction that's for you to decide.
If I might say something without being considered rude...
there is a board called let's talk. Many general subjects such as paranormal activity can be fit into this general topic. I don't think we need a million and one boards for every topic of discussion.

I think having a paranormal board is a good idea. I mean think about it, if stuff like this was in "Lets talk" you would have to look through other nonsencical topics to find the one you're looking for and if it was a board on it's own it would be easier.
um, you have to look through the let's talk for any other topic. why not this one?

lots of things, experiences, perhaps share website links or something. i've been to tonnes of psychic suppers.
I got a few site addreses on my board if you want to check them out. My board so far has a good discussion going on maybe it'll give you an idea as to of what to talk about. Yeah the more I think about it, yeah there does need to be a special board for this. I get tired of finding mine when I need/want to post to it.
another thing that can be talked about is, well, sometimes you think you had another life on another planet and then there are other times you know you had another life on another planet. Yeayh to the weegy board

Past lives, reincarnation, that kind of thing. I'll take a look at those address things at some point.
alright, how about we compromise with this. I don't like the idea of having a category for this on the boards, but what about throwing something up for this on Grafiti? Would you all like that? you'll be able to have your discussions, post your links, and what's more, those of you who wish to remain anonymous can choose to do so, in case you want to talk about something that you'd feel uncomfortable bringing up with people with your identity known for fear of being made fun of? Thoughts? Post them here...if I get enough feedback, I'll talk to the others to see if we can create something on Grafiti.

I actually see great advantages to having a parranormal board. but then, i can understand why some may think these can just go in 'let's talk"> And, I don't think it could go in religion as it's a bit different. Some people who experience a bit of the paranormal aren't religious at all.
I for one would like to discuss something on this subject, and I don't think it suits graffiti. but whatever. I won't be discussing anything like this on graffiti, sorry, sorry.

No-one's posted on here since May. I enjoy watching programmes on TV like Most Haunted and Ghost Towns when I get chance. On Tuesday nights at 10 PM there is a programme that has just started called "Paranormal Egypt" on Living TV or Living TV2.
um this board died because there is no need to keep the topic open since the grafitti board is up!
